Stroll around the neighborhood of NU Hotel and you will pass popular bars, restaurants and shops galore. Venture a few blocks farther on foot or bicycle and you may encounter pristine rows of 19th century brownstones, warehouses of artists’ studios, astonishing street art, lush parks and green businesses. You may also come across the Brooklyn Academy of Music, Hasidic wig makers, Caribbean music shops and on your return home, the Brooklyn Bridge, an icon of industrial glory, with its spectacular views of Manhattan crowning it all.
